Sadly, the phone call was not about brilliance, just about having a phone.

"Sometimes I'm so brilliant I amaze even myself"

I am stuck in a window. What the hell?!

When my mouth has a thought,
I see it through.
Do you taste like a popsicle?
I shall lick you!

Found, still on the fridge, somewhere in the North.

The good news is that I do not have problems using a semicolon.

Sadly, I have not found an occasion to use the ‘air apostrophe’ in conversation today.

Note from Maine "Your mind is having a tropical vacation. If you're lucky, maybe you'll get a postcard. 'Wish you were here' "

I am currently candy corn-nogged.

Nancy Drew, formerly Symbology Detective, currently a detective in search of lost memories. Pleased to meet you.

"I often come here," he said again. "Whenever the doldrums of depression fall heavy on my countenance."

"Furniture will come and go, but independence is forever."

Favorite WW quote of all time, cross-referenced.

Tragic news: The lesson on the comma has been postponed indefinitely!!! For the meantime I will continue to use my own personal grammar that I created to meet my needs both moral and punctuational.

"All fish must be found!"

Smoke less, drink more.

"It is going to be an unbearable day."

This is for real - not just a quote.

Balloon update:
S arrived at 9:35 but did not immediately attack the balloon and then J ruined my little game because she soon tired of the balloon and removed it from the door. I found out later we were very close to the letter opener being used.

Posted in a legal blog today:
Mawwiage. Mawwiage is what bwings us togethaw today. Mawwiage, that bwessed awwangement, that dweam within a dweam... Then wove, twue wove, will follow you fowever...
Now I want to go and see the movie again.

Snivel is such a fun word...

The firm is rolling out a new promotion and has balloons at every desk chair, every office door, every door in the hall. I am playing a game myself to see how many times S will open the door to the library (balloon is on the handle at face level) and will either walk into the balloon or have the balloon hit him in the face before either: 1. his head explodes (preferred but messy and resulting in loss of head and therefore loss of S) or 2. takes the letter opener to the balloon.

I give it until 9:35 - and I only give it that long because it is raining and traffic was horrible and I expect S to be late and the first few times he passes through the door will be on the way to get coffee and donuts which may appease him for a few moments.

"Right lane for right turn only" means exactly what it says.

The mail is the mail is the mail. It does not matter if the Tuesday mail came at noon and the Monday mail (remember they do not deliver the mail on Labor Day) came at 4:45.
The mail that comes tomorrow should not be analyzed to determine if it is from Saturday or Wednesday. "It's wine, you'll drink it."

And, for the record, the emergency lane is actually NOT for parking - even if you are having an emergency - even if you are only parking for 10 minutes to run into the store.

"There are big signs! You can't park there! They should get towed! I hope they get towed to Queens and the Triboro is closed and there's a big craft show at Shea, a flea market or a tractor show!"

WW

I hope the previously mentioned mean people get towed.

I know I am a snob, but I really feel that the words "big time" should not be used in literature of any kind.
